God…Family…Friends…and…Aussies
God’s Little Aussies is located on our second generation family farm known as God’s Little Critters Farm. We are nestled in between the quaint rural City of Ennis and the hustle & bustle City of Waxahachie in the Great State of Texas.
God’s Little Critters Farm is the home of many, many well-loved animals of whom we have been blessed with stewardship of. Goats, sheep, llamas, micro cattle, mini horses, horses, ponies, donkeys, piggies, rabbits, chickens, tortoise, once unwanted rescue dogs, and, the reason you are here getting to know us, Toy, Mini and Standard Australian Shepherds, Doodles and Poodles, have made their home with us on the farm. Our life here is a menagerie of beautiful Spring days, scalding hot summers, brittle wintry mornings, hard work, laughter, tears, early mornings, late nights, lots of fun, togetherness, welcomed breezes, whisping trees in the wind, blooming crepe myrtle, cows mooing, sheep baaing, goats escaping, thundering of horse hooves, new life, sad goodbyes, barking dogs with lots of belly rubs before calling it a day. With all of the above being the gift of a blessed life!
Where our journey began was in helping the unwanted dogs of any and all breeds and mixes to find homes. My entire childhood, I never witnessed my father to leave a dumped dog to fend for itself on our country road. Daddy took in many and loved many. My parents also bred German Shepherds and Dachshunds as well. As a child, I lived with a beautiful menagerie of life on our little farm. Loving dogs, loving all animals, is the gift left to me…my Daddy’s legacy.
Today, my husband and I share life with many of the once unwanted…we’ve found homes for many and many are still here romping on the farm. We strongly believe there is a place for rescue and breeder. At the end of the day, it comes down to where our journey has led us…to adopt that abandoned soul or to purchase that longed for breed. Neither is right or wrong for all dogs deserve love and companionship. We always know when our heart is being tugged and that is where life begins with a dog.
We are all about “Everything Aussie”…toy, mini, standard…also F1 and F1b Aussiedoodles…a quality Lifestyle–a quality Dog-life. Our days are dedicated to our dogs. We fell in love with the Aussie along the path of our dog life and we are so very proud of the beautiful Aussies and Doodles we raise. We hope and pray each one gives their family a lifetime of happiness. We loved our puppies first and have faith that their families will love them for a lifetime.
